Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to the use of ShareDraw (sharedraw.co.uk), a drawing-distribution and site-management service for construction sites operated by Share Draw Limited, registered in England and Wales, company no. 17367750, registered office 152 Whitworth Road, Swindon, SN25 3BJ ("ShareDraw", "we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or accessing drawings through a site code, you agree to these terms.
1. What ShareDraw is
ShareDraw is a distribution and record-keeping tool. It lets a contractor's technical department upload construction drawings, organise them, and control which trades on site can see them via QR posters and access codes, and provides optional site modules — including claims, day-works, QA records, snagging, site sign-in, call-offs, variations and programme. ShareDraw transmits, displays and stores what the contractor and its trades put in — it does not author, check, approve or certify any drawing or record.
2. Drawings are the contractor's responsibility
All drawings, revisions, statuses and trade allocations on ShareDraw are uploaded and managed at the discretion of the subscribing contractor's technical department. The contractor is solely responsible for the accuracy, currency, completeness and lawful use of every drawing they place on the service, for allocating drawings to the correct trades, and for superseding or removing drawings when they change. Anyone working from a drawing should confirm with the issuing technical department if in doubt. ShareDraw accepts no responsibility for work carried out from any drawing distributed through the service.
The same applies to site records. Day-work sheets, claims, QA records, snags, sign-in logs, variations and similar records are created and approved by the contractor and its trades; a signature on a day-work sheet is the contractor's site team verifying the work, not ShareDraw's. The contractor is responsible for the accuracy of its records and for checking exports before relying on them commercially.
3. Accounts, site codes and access codes
Each client company receives one office login. You are responsible for keeping your password, site codes and trade access codes confidential and for the people you share them with. Tell us promptly if you believe a code or account has been compromised and we or your technical department can rotate it. We may suspend access that we reasonably believe is being misused.
4. Subscriptions and payment
ShareDraw is charged per user of your account at £1 per user per week (current pricing), with all modules and unlimited sites included, through our payment provider, Stripe. People on site accessing drawings via QR posters and access codes are not charged users. Subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be managed or cancelled at any time through the Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices may change with reasonable notice. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch ShareDraw's systems.
5. The service
We aim to keep ShareDraw available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access — construction sites should use the offline-saving feature for critical drawings. We may update, improve or modify features. Data is hosted on secure, encrypted infrastructure (encrypted in transit and at rest).
6. Acceptable use
You must not use ShareDraw to store or distribute unlawful material, material you don't have the rights to, or anything unrelated to legitimate construction documentation; attempt to access other clients' data; or resell the service without our agreement.
7. Data protection
Our Privacy & GDPR policy explains what personal data the service holds and why. Where the contractor or its trades enter personal data about people on site — names, sign-in records, day-work signatures, or device location where the contractor has enabled location checking — the contractor decides what is collected and why, and ShareDraw stores and processes it on the contractor's behalf to provide those features. The contractor is responsible for telling its site teams and trades about this in the normal course of running its sites.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law. Otherwise, ShareDraw's total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses arising from work performed to any drawing distributed through the service (see section 2), delays, or loss of data where we have exercised reasonable care.
9. Termination
You can stop using ShareDraw and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end the service for non-payment or serious breach of these terms. On closure of an account we will delete its drawings and data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention needs.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged to account holders.
